Skin / Bald Fade
The sides and back are taken all the way down to bare skin, blending seamlessly into more length on top. Works on almost any hair type and holds a crisp line the longest between cuts.
Ask for: a skin fade, taken down to the skin on the sides.
Low Fade
The fade starts an inch or so above the ear, keeping more length around the sides for a subtler transition. A safe, low-maintenance choice for first-timers or more conservative workplaces.
Ask for: a low fade, starting just above the ear.
Mid Fade
The blend starts around the temple, splitting the difference between a low and high fade for balanced contrast. The most versatile fade height — pairs well with almost any style on top.

High Fade
The fade begins high on the sides, near the top of the head, for maximum contrast against the length on top. Best when there's real length or texture on top to contrast against the short sides.

Taper Fade
A closer cousin of the fade — sides and back get shorter gradually toward the neckline, without going to skin. A classic, professional look that grows out cleaner than a skin fade.
Ask for: a taper fade, kept off the skin.
Drop Fade
The fade line curves — or "drops" — behind the ear instead of staying straight, following the shape of the skull. Flatters rounder head shapes and adds a sharper, more sculpted look to curly or coily hair.
Ask for: a drop fade behind the ear.
Burst Fade
A fade that curves in an arc around the ear only, leaving more length at the neckline — often paired with a fringe. A go-to for fringe and curly-top styles that still want a tight, faded perimeter.

Textured Crop
Short, choppy layers on top with a lot of texture, usually finished with a light matte product for separation. Great for thicker or wavy hair that holds texture well without much styling effort.

Buzz Cut
One guard length all over, clippers only — the lowest-maintenance cut in the chair. Ideal for thinning hair, hot weather, or anyone who wants zero daily styling.

The beard is shaped to the jawline with clippers and shears, then the edges are sharpened with a straight razor. Cleans up patchy or uneven growth and gives any beard length a defined edge.
